Dr. Secord

Dr. David Secord has been a lifelong resident of the Detroit area, having grown up on the east side where he attended Austin Catholic Prep High School.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery form the University of Detroit in 1974.  Following two years of practice in general dentistry, he entered the orthodontic specialty program at Northwestern University where he earned his Master of Science in Orthodontics degree.

Dr. Secord has been in the private practice of orthodontics since 1978.  He maintains memberships in numerous organizations including The American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, Michigan Dental Association, and The Michigan Association of Orthodontics. In addition to his memberships, Dr. Secord has served as a clinical instructor at the University of Detroit Dental School orthodontic department.  As well as being active in many professional organizations, Dr. Secord contributes much of his free time to his community and continues to support local schools.

Dr. Secord and his wife Suzanne were married in 1980 and are the parents of four children, Allison, Tracy, Laura and David.  Growing up in the Great Lake state of Michigan, Dr. Secord has always enjoyed nature and spends his leisure time running, sailing, hunting and various other outdoor activities. 

Dr. Secord is a member of the Premier Orthodontist network. His practice is located in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan.
